A Country I would Like To Visit

One of the countries I dream of visiting is Cambodia. It is a country located in Asia, specifically in the southeast, a geographical area that stands out for being a relatively flat terrain with extensive areas of forest. Cambodia is one of the countries with the highest concentration of Buddhist temples in the region, almost on a par with India, a situation that is explained by the great Hindu influence exercised by merchants millennia ago. While Cambodia has always had a strong presence and influence of Buddhism at its roots, this presence was greatly accentuated by the Khmer empire and its attempts to foster and develop a national identity based on the development of the sovereign State and the Khmer language.

 

I would very much like to tour its sacred temples located in the most hidden and deep places of the Cambodian jungle, walk and walk on land that was long considered holy by the first Cambodian-Buddhist masters. I would also very much like to live a season in Cambodia, I feel that going alone for a holiday season would not be enough to learn and know so much about such a diverse and mystical culture.

    It sounds amazing to be able to visit all those places in Cambodia, they look so beautiful and different from what exists in Chile, so Cambodia has generated my interest to visit it as well.

Without a doubt, the season of the year that I like the most and that I could say is my favorite, is winter. My future job

When I chose Public Administration as a career I felt I was pigeonholing myself into a future that was not what I wanted for my life. The first year of college was very difficult and complex because a part of me was not happy with the choice I had made for my life, it was as if I myself had been constantly punishing myself for making a decision that I was never entirely convinced of. In spite of that and my negative thoughts, I gradually gained more security and affection for what I was studying; the feeling that the vocation of service was present in the midst of so much uncertainty.   Almost 3 years after having made this decision, I see in retrospect that, although I still can’t imagine a lifetime working at a desk, if I imagine working for Chile, for older adults.
